Belly Pic

This is the latest belly pic. This Tuesday I will be 30 weeks along!!! Only a couple more months to go!! Am still feeling pretty good! Just not sleeping well at night and my tailbone is a killer. But, well worth it! I had my glucose/diabetic test this week for gestational diabetes and it came back my levels were elevated. So, now I have to go back for a 3 hour test on Tuesday to determine if I have it. We'll see. At our appt last week, the Baby Girl's heartbeat was a lot higher than it had been, was up to 156. But our dr said this was normal because she is moving around so much more now, which is very true! Some of her movements are so big that take me aback! I love it though. ;)

House Work

Well, Mike has been hard at work on the house again. ;) He moved our bedroom upstairs in preperation of gutting/making a mess downstairs of the bathroom. So, once we did that, the upstairs bath needed some quick help so we could use it. He repainted, put in a new shower and door, new towel bars, mirror, etc. We still need to get a new vanity, but will soon. I forgot to take any before pics, but it had this foil floral wallpaper, nasty shower- gag worthy.
Also, are starting on the Baby Girl's room! YAY! I picked out the color, it is in fact called Cinderella's Glass Slipper. Girly Girl all the way to the paint name too! ;) It's a lilac/lavender color. Then, next Mike is going to do wainscotting which will go about half way up the wall, new crown moldings around the ceiling and windows, and a new door. It will come together quickly I think! Can't wait!!!

This is the light blue color he painted the bathroom upstairs
New shower!

Baby Girl's room. before. Mike tore out the molding around the windows.

Not sure if you can tell, but the paint sample we chose is the middle one.

Outside work......

So, Memorial Weekend, Mike and I decided to be productive outside. I was in charge of planting all kinds of flowers in the front. He was gung-ho about starting a garden in the back. Turns out planting, gardening, etc is harder work than I thought! It took us practically all day. Bonus I got some sun on my ghostly white body!!
A few pics of the flowers I planted in the ground and in this pot.
More flowers planted, Mike mulched. Also planted lots in the back, but forgot to take pics! OOPS.

Mike's precious garden. He's quite excited. He planted everything and beyond. So, we'll see what pops up in a few months. :)

Baby Shower Times! ;)

So, last weekend I flew home to Missouri for my first baby shower and to be with my Mom for Mother's Day. It was an unbelivable weekend!! My sister and a few of my best friends threw the greatest baby shower for us back in my hometown of St. James. They went above and beyond!!! Baby Girl got so many fun things!! We're getting closer and closer. I'm in fact almost 7 months along now. Hard to believe. It was a great weekend because I was able to spend time with all my friends plus see all my extended family at shower as well. And it was extra special because my sisters and I were all home with my Mom for Mother's Day for the first time in many years. So, we were able to surprise her with a special breakfast and some fun gifts. And a trip to MO always involves a trip to the wineries. I have to say, it was a little tough going from winery to winery and only being able to drink water!! I tried some non-alcoholic wine- can't say that I would recommend it!! It tasted more like watered down box-o-wine! HA!

My family and I after the shower.

All my college friends and I. The last time Annie and I will be together before we have our babies just a few days apart most likely!

Everybody giving Baby Girl some love!

My sister Sarah worked so hard in making this super cute diaper cake!!
