Annie's Visit to NY!

My best friend Annie from St. Louis came to visit us this weekend. It was perfect because she is also pregnant and due only 2 days after me. So, all through out our pregnancy we've been able to share all our experiences, symptoms, excitement with one another as we are both going thru it at the exact same time. We had a fabulous girlie weekend though. Saw Chicago on Broadway, pregnancy massages, dinners, shopping, bopping around the city, etc. and beyond that, the weather was perfect! It of course went by WAY too quickly! I'm excited though because I'll be back in MO in 2 short weeks and can see her and all the rest of my friends and family!!

Belly Update!

So, I'm officially 6 months along today! Now it seems that time is flying by! I'm feeling great and feeling our Baby Girl move more and more each day. We just received our crib and mattress, thanks to my Mom and Dad! I love it! And we ordered the rest of the furniture this week. I can't wait to start putting her room together.

Recent House Updates

So, Mike continues to work his butt off on the house. His recent projects were our stairs. They were covered in "skeevy" carpeting, then had this orange muck that he had to heat and sand off for hours. He also painted the railings, etc. They look great. He also updated one of the upstairs bedrooms. It was Pepto Bismol all over- pink carpeting and walls. He tore up the carpeting and repainted. And he also put in a doorway and and door in the back of the garage. In early May, the big project of renovating the bathroom begins!!!

Cherry Chapstick

So, a few weeks ago my friend Melissa and I went to see Katy Perry in concert. Fun times! Turns out Katy is pretty crazy. She was even "moshing" in the crowd. But we had had a great time jamming along with all her songs. Of course her big endinh was I Kissed A Girl! ;)

Belly Shot

This is an updated pic of my belly. I'm 22 weeks along as of today. I'm feeling our little girl move all the time now, which is so exciting.It's driving Mike crazy that he hasn't been able to feel her yet whe he puts his hand on my stomach. Hopefully soon. ;) I had another dr. appt last night and everything is looking great. I'm officially into maternity clothes now as well. It's becoming more and more exciting as we go along. YAY.

Happy 1st Birthday Annabelle!!!!!!!

Our sweet niece Annabelle turned 1 this weekend as well. They had a party to celebrate. As you can tell from the picture below she definitely enjoyed the cupcake!!

Mom's Visit to New York! ;)

Well, after some weather mishaps, my Mom was still able to make it to NY on Friday to spend the weekend with us, thank goodness!! She had a layover in Philadelphia and of course there was bad weather and they cancelled all the flts into NY. AH! But, Amtrak to the rescue! It's only an hour train ride from there into Penn Station. So, all worked out. ;) We had a great girlie weekend together; dinners, manicures, outlet shopping for the baby, maternity shopping for me, seeing our house for the first time, and just having her here was the best. It went by WAY too quickly though!!! So glad I'll be back in MO in just a month.
