Update

So, not much to update everyone on. I had a dr. appt on Monday and our Baby Girl is in the right position, but no progress otherwise.just a waiting game! I'm feeling pretty good for the most part. Just tired, swollen feet, and feeling some pressure...so we'll see! I don't go back to the dr until the 31st b/c she is out of town. So, maybe more happening then! Otherwise, Mike and I have been just getting more stuff together for her. ;) We went to a birthing class last wkd, which was helpful, and educated us more on a bit of what to expect. Have been searching/meeting with daycares for November when I return to work. The infant rooms book up fast it seems!! I only have one more week of work left until I start maternity leave! YAY! I can't wait! The 3 hour commute a day is wearing on me!! But, our Baby Girl is still moving in my belly like crazy! We try and guess what body parts we see as she squirms all around!

This is a belly pic from last wkd.

Belly.....

Well, here is my belly as of today, again kind of hard to tell because I'm wearing a dress. I've been living in dresses lately because they are the most comfortable thing. August 11th is rapidly approaching!! I start going to the dr every week now!! Last week, the dr said everything was on track and unless anything changes I should be fine to keep commuting into the city thru the end of July. I'm feeling pretty good, just get tired a lot easier. Next weekend Mike and I got for our all day birthing class. I'm sure we'll be hearing all kinds of good info!

Moving into the Baby's Room!!

Well, today was fun-filled day for me!! ( not so sure how Mike felt) ;) He put together the crib and also moved the changing table and chest into the Baby Girl's room!! He also touched up all the paint and installed new blinds. Then, I was able to start getting everything in the room finally and organizing!! So, so excited!! There is still much more to do, but definitely so close!! We have practically everything, but just need to get a few things here and there for the final touches for her room, like ordering a carpet, getting some baskets, window valances, shelves for the walls. I keep going in there and just looking at everything- so surreal and just loving it so much at the same time!! We've been talking about names, but have decide to wait until she arrives to decide!! So, stay tuned..... ;)

Random Happenings

Well, this weekend we( mostly Mike) ;), continued to get so much more done for Baby Girl's arrival! We had nasty carpeting all over the house, which Mike has torn up, and underneath are hardwood floors that just need to be refinished. Well, this weekend he refinished the Baby Girl's room. It looks amazing!!!! I can't believe he did it himself. Today he also put together her stroller, car seat, and pack 'n play/bassinet. He had a fun time with the stroller... see pics below! ;)
Our stroller and car seat with Mike's "Baby Guitar".

You can't really tell from these pics, but the hardwood floors in her room, look unbelievable! All shiny and new!!

Mom and Dad in NY. ;)

Last weekend my parents drove up to visit us in New York, bring up all kinds of baby goodies, and for my Mom to come to my baby shower. It was a great weekend! My Mom helped me get all kinds of things ready for our Baby Girl as well!! And she and my Dad came and had lunch with me in the city on Monday as well. We went to lunch at Tavern on the Green in Central Park. It was so great having them here, and soon enough they will be hurrying back to make it for our Baby Girl's arrival!!
My Mom and sister got me the cutest scrapbook to start for our Baby Girl. My Mom helped me begin it last wkd. A few pages I filled with the sonogram pics.

New York Baby Shower ;)

Last weekend Mike's Mom and sisters threw me a fabulous baby shower in NY. It was such a fun event and they went above and beyond for our little girl, and made it so special!! We practically have everything for her now, just have to get everything organized!! And for even more of a special time, my parents drove up to be with us for the weekend, and my Mom was able to come to the shower. I'm a lucky girl!!
