New pics of Giana ;)
Here are some pics we took outside this wkd with Giana. For some reason they look kind of blurry?? She is doing great though!! I'm still getting used to the crazy sleepless nights, but she is doing better and better! My Mom left this morning to fly home to MO. Sad!!! ;( She was my angel these past 2 weeks helping with absolutely everything and showing me the ropes in becoming a Mom. ;) And next week my sister Sarah comes to visit. Can't wait!

Giana pics!!!!! ;)
Giana Caroline Marciano has arrived!!!!!!!!!!
Well, last Saturday, our Baby Girl finally made her appearance! ;) Giana Caroline Marciano was born on Sat. August 15th at 2:56pm, weighing 6lbs, 11oz, 19 1/2 inches long. She is perfect in every way possible!!!!!!!!!
The labor with Giana was quite long though! We were induced on Friday morning with something called Cervadrol( i think), and it was quite slow movin! I started having contractions Fri. afternoon consistently, so they moved me back to labor and delivery, but then they slowed down. In the middle of the night I was in crazy pain with contractions, but still not dialated. My water broke around 3am, they gave me some pain medication, and I was a few cm. dialated at this point. By early morn, around 9am, I had my epidural and they were just waiting for the contractions to get closer.I pushed for about an hour before she came out. Unfortunately, I got a fever during the delivery, so for the duration of the hospital stay, she had to be kept in the nursery to be monitored and be given antibiotcs. But, she is healthy, healthy, and doing great!! And Monday night around 10pm, we FINALLY were able to come home!!!!!! Giana is my perfect little angel and I love every second of being with her!!!!! Mike and I are so, so excited our little girl has arrived and we have her home!! A big thank you goes out to my parents, who have been with us this past week! I truly do not know how I would have done it with out them!!!! They have helped out with everything and are lifesavers!!!!! And of course fabulous Grandparents to this first little grandbaby!!! Of course, I want to show some pics of her off!!!! The next posting will be pics, pics of our little Giana!!

Very Close to Meeting our Baby Girl!!!!!
So, this will most likely be my last entry before our Baby Girl arrives!!! ;) I went back to the dr. this morning and they had me on the contraction monitor. I was having small/medium contractions they said, and am on the verge on going into labor! YAY!!!!!!!! If nothing happens tonight on it's own, I will be admitted to the hospital at 7am tomorrow. They will start with inserting something called Certivrol(sp), which is supposed to jump start labor and soften my cervix more. So, hopefully it does the job asap!!! So, if all goes according to (my plans) ;) , we will be meeting our daughter tomorrow at some point! I will of course keep everyone updated as much as I can via text and post pics on here as soon as we can!!!!! Exciting times to come!!!!!!!
