Just last night, when I was giving Giana her bath, she had another first. She went crazy splashing all over. Kicking her legs the entire time! Therefore, soaking her Mama, but I loved it! Mike and I are planning on doing Family Swimming lessons with her beginning in May. Hopefully this is a sign, she'll love them!
And she began crawling backwards last night. She went across the entire living room in record time! I was at home by myself, so I didn't get either one of them on video, sadly. So, I'm hoping she has a repeat tonight so I can capture it. Our Baby Girl is growing up SO fast!!!

Pics, pics, pics!
Giana is 6 months old!
Hard to believe, but our baby girl turned 6 months old on Feb. 15th!! And that same day she cut her first tooth! Getting so, so big! We went for her 6 mos check-up this week. She weighs 16.5 lbs, which is in the 50th percentile. And is 26 1/2 inches long, which is in the 75th percentile. Long and lean, except in those cheeks. ;) Poor baby had to have 4 shots though!! Thank goodness my Mom was with me and stood by her as she got them. I'm not strong. But Giana did great and only had a few tears. The dr said she was right on track! She is starting to crawl, backwards only so far. And continues to LOVE eating! She has tried all the orange and green veggies- and had applesauce this wkd, which of course she chowed. We tried a sippy cup as well, but she doesn't quite grasp it yet.
She definitely knows her pacificer, and has figured out how to put it in and out of her mouth. And she is very attached to this little soft baby doll her Auntie Olivia gave her, and sleeps and clings to it all night long. SO cute!
My parents came up to visit this past week. They were amazed at how much she had changed since Christmas. We're so lucky they can come up and spend so much time with her.I miss them like crazy already! Giana and I are in fact flying back to MO in a few weeks to help Olivia search for her wedding dress and Giana for her flowergirl dress. Can't wait to see everyone!!! I'll post new pics too!!

Miss Giana
More pics
Finally some pics!!
So, I've been so about getting pics up again! OOPS! Giana is doing so great!! Such a happy little baby! So hard to believe she is almost 6 months old. She continues to try new foods. This weekend I made green beans for her, and she chowed those as well. She is a great eater!! Mike can make her laugh like no other. It's the best sound I've ever heard!! My parents are coming up to visit us by the end of the week. I can't wait to have them here!! I know they are ready to see their grandbaby. She has changed SO much since they saw her last at Christmas.
