Random Happenings

Well, this weekend we( mostly Mike) ;), continued to get so much more done for Baby Girl's arrival! We had nasty carpeting all over the house, which Mike has torn up, and underneath are hardwood floors that just need to be refinished. Well, this weekend he refinished the Baby Girl's room. It looks amazing!!!! I can't believe he did it himself. Today he also put together her stroller, car seat, and pack 'n play/bassinet. He had a fun time with the stroller... see pics below! ;)

Last weekend my parents drove up to visit us in New York, bring up all kinds of baby goodies, and for my Mom to come to my baby shower. It was a great weekend! My Mom helped me get all kinds of things ready for our Baby Girl as well!! And she and my Dad came and had lunch with me in the city on Monday as well. We went to lunch at Tavern on the Green in Central Park. It was so great having them here, and soon enough they will be hurrying back to make it for our Baby Girl's arrival!!

New York Baby Shower ;)

Last weekend Mike's Mom and sisters threw me a fabulous baby shower in NY. It was such a fun event and they went above and beyond for our little girl, and made it so special!! We practically have everything for her now, just have to get everything organized!! And for even more of a special time, my parents drove up to be with us for the weekend, and my Mom was able to come to the shower. I'm a lucky girl!!

Belly Shot

Well, here is my latest belly shot. I'm officially 33 weeks along today. Its kind of hard to tell how big my belly is in this dress. It seems to be growing, growing though!! Only 7 weeks to go! Crazy!! Everything is going great still though. Sleep is definitely not the same anymore though! But I should just get used to that I think. ;) And I've noticed I can only eat really small meals/snacks now because I get so full since she's taking up so much room. I had a dr appt last night and I finally got to have another sonogram! YAY! i was SO excited. I'll have to have Mike scan the pics because I do not know how. But,everything looked great for the Baby Girl. She was being feisty they said and would not stop moving around. And she kept playing- she had the cord in the her mouth, then her hand. It was so fun to see! They said she weighs approximately 4lbs, 4 oz right now. Getting closer and closer.. ;)

Florida Family Times

So, last Wednesday thru Sunday Mike and I headed to meet my family in Florida for a little mini vacation before our Baby Girl arrives. It was a great getaway, especially since it has been chilly and raining nonstop in NY for about a month! We had fabulous weather in Florida. Just were able to hang out on the beach, ocean, pool, eat delicious seafood, and hang out with the fam. Can't beat that! It of course went by WAY too fast and I was sad to leave everyone. But, I'm spoiled and I have the best parents n the world who are driving all the way up to NY this weekend to bring baby stuff and for my Mom to be with me for my baby shower up here. Plus, my Dad hasn't seen our house yet! ;) Should be fun! Then they will be back when the baby is born as well!

Baby Girl's Room!!!!!!

Mike worked insanely hard this weekend and got the Baby Girl's room practically done!!! AHH! I'm so, so excited!!! He put on wainscotting on the bottom half of the walls, Put in new crown molding on the top of the walls, new moldings around the windows, new doors, etc. I love, love, love it!!! It looks so sweet and I can't wait to have her in it. ;) I'm so, so lucky to have a husband that can do all of this!!

Annabelle and Louis

This weekend, Donna, Mike's sister stopped by to visit with our niece and nephew, Annabelle and Louis. It had been WAY too long since we had seen them. Louis is getting so tall and Annabelle is now walking all over the place. So fun to hang out with them. Louis was too cute and asking all kinds of questions about the Baby Girl in my belly. ;) Can't wait for them both to meet their new cousin in a few short months!!
